Lemongrass oil has a smooth creamy-lemony scent that calms the nerves and in aromatherapy it is often used as a tonic sedative for the central nervous system.

It has strong germicidal properties, so it can also be used as an air purifier for environments with infectious disease, especially in those cold winter months when there are a lot of viruses passed around.
