Long known for its virtues, it was made famous as a sacred anointing oil from the Biblical recounting of the washing of Christ's feet... this oil is one of the most sought in pure form for spiritual use.

Therapeutically it is used to regulate heart beat, harmonize the blood circulation, and regenerate a balanced skin system. It has a long tradition of being used as a healing agent for many conditions.

Characteristics:
A pale yellow or amber-colored liquid with a heavy, sweet-woody, spicy-animal odor, somewhat similar to valerian oil. It blends well with labdanum, lavender, oakmoss, patchouli, pine needle, vetiver and spice oils.

Principal Constituents: These are naturally occuring in the essential oil.
